What a week.
First, we welcomed a new President of the United States into the White House!!!
Second, we celebrated the first female African American and Asian American Vice President as a role model to all our little girls!!!
Third, we congratulated Amanda Gorman on her mature, brilliant, and inspirational inaugural poem, "The Hill We Climb!!!"
Fourth, my girls admired Bernie Sanders' mittens more than they noticed the dangerous mountain lion!!!
Fifth, we cheered watching a thoughtful son, Noah, dance with his mama, Wendy, for her Christmas wish.
Sixth, we supported a loving mom, Lisa, celebrate the life of her gone-too-soon-son, Shayne.
Seventh, my family mourned the passing of our beautiful 101-year-old great grandmother.
Eighth, we continued our lifelong search that "there must be Higher Love, down in the heart or hidden in the stars above."
"When day comes, we step out of the shade of flame and unafraid.
The new dawn balloons as we free it.
For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it.
If only we’re brave enough to be it."
What a week, indeed.
