Our yummiest yoga class for deep stretching. We hold poses for 3-5 minutes and stay completely on the floor. Class length varies from 20-60 minutes and sometimes focuses on specific areas of the body. A yoga mat is required and there are optional props such as sandbags, straps, blocks, or blankets. Nothing makes me more happy then dancing… Girls Just Want to Have Fun was my favorite movie for years and I would watch the final dance scene over and over on my Betamax!! ALL I ever wanted to be was a professional dancer. I never took classes or lessons. I spent my 20’s dancing anywhere and everywhere, night clubs, bars. I went to my first Stop, Drop and Dance class and loved it so much I've gone to every class since. YES, IT IS THAT AWESOME. I've never been great about fitness because exercise can be a slog and I get bored easily, but SDD changed that. It's so much fun. The songs are catchy and the choreography is the perfect mix of straightforward enough for non-dancers and challenging enough that you feel accomplished after learning it. And as you get more familiar with the songs and steps, things just get more fun! I feel so strong and healthy (and tired :)) after each class. Grace is an incredible teacher and a gifted choreographer. Her love for dance is contagious and she puts so much care and kindness into everything she does. I'm grateful for her and the SDD community -- they have been a source of happiness during challenging times.

I am not a dancer. Or at least...I was not a dancer. I made the best mistake of my life and took #StopDropandDance thinking it was a cardio class at my yoga studio. It took everything in my power to shrink as tiny as I could in the back as Grace joyfully led the room: she saw me anyway. From that initial class 5 years ago, I have slowly moved to the front of the room and I stopped hiding. I dance big now and I don't hold back. SDD is one of the few places where I can turn my brain off and allow my body to move and feel without judgement or expectation. I have danced through sadness, joy, trauma, exhaustion, motherhood...and now a pandemic. As a hospital nurse the online classes buoy me and offer a sense of community that has become intangible. I leave class feeling better than I did when I started; I am stronger, sweaty, happy, and ready for my day.

My sister Grace has always had a passion for exercise and made it a regular part of her life. I was the opposite and rarely worked out. It wasn’t until recently when I gained a motivation to combat my aging metabolism that I tried her Stop Drop & Dance classes and fell in love. Her routines are so fun and easy to follow and set to the trendiest beats. It’s like a dance party, except better because you don’t have to come up with your own moves (although you always have the option to do so). Thanks to the high intensity cardio burn I get from my sister's classes, I’m able to keep my weight from creeping up during this shelter-in-place. And the best part?
