Dear Friends,
Early-Bird Sign Ups Are OPEN!
Last October, thanks to the generosity of our hostess Karen Wright, who opened up her home in Stinson Beach, we were able to gather our community for a special one-day women's retreat with meditation, journaling, small group breakout sessions, vision board crafting, yoga, and dancing!
This year, we are once again gathering at Karen's beautiful home, but it is not a retreat...
It's a DANCE PARTY!!!
Karen's backyard literally looks out into the ocean, so we will be dancing on the beach, in the sand, barefoot or with sneakers (your choice!), AND we will be dancing in the warm afternoon sun until the sun goes down!
All of you are invited and you are welcome to invite your friends who love to dance too. This Stinson Beach Dance Party will also be a celebration for a loyal and dedicated person in our PWG community...
Happy 50th Birthday Lisa Butcher!
Lisa has requested this 50th birthday dance party since three years ago, so we are making it happen! We hope you can join her for an unforgettable party with a Stop Drop and Dance class, some hip hop line dancing (yes, that's right), and a silent disco! Dinner will be provided.
We have LIMITED spots because of the silent disco headsets, so sign up to join us by September 30th for the early-bird rate, or October 12th is the LAST DAY to register!

Catherine's Mermaid Birthday TOMORROW!
Please join us this Thursday, September 10th at 9:30am on Zoom or at UUMarin (240 Channing Way in San Rafael) for a 75 minute Stop Drop and Dance celebration for Catherine Granville’s birthday!
The theme will be MERMAID, or you can wear ocean colors just like Catherine's beautiful shirt in the photo above! Wear comfortable shoes, bring your water bottles, and accessorize with anything mermaid or ocean related!
After we dance, please plan on staying to browse (or shop!) some of the beautiful jewelry Catherine hand makes for her small business, Radiant Sea Studio! She uses one-of-a-kind pieces from the ocean and creates everything from necklaces to bracelets to rings and earrings!
Come celebrate Catherine and support her small business!

"It was only a sunny smile,
and cost little in the giving,
but like morning light
it scattered the night
and made the day worth living."
- F. Scott Fitzgerald
Over the weekend, Marianne Jacobson brought the sweetest little guest to dance with us on Saturday morning. It was her neighbor's 4-year-old son, Knox, who she babysits from time to time (yes, kids are free with a dancing adult!).
Marianne prepared a list of songs for his debut playlist, including Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift, and of course, songs from K-Pop Demon Hunters. Although Knox was shy and stayed in the back of the room, he slowly warmed up to dancing with us during every song, and by the end, those of us in the front of the room could see Knox singing along, especially to the last song, "Golden," (which, can you believe is actually his last name???).
"No more hiding,
I'll be shining,
Like I'm born to be!"
At the end of class, Knox wanted a matching golden shirt too! Doesn't his smile just bring so much sunshine? Thank you Marianne for introducing us to the cutest boy and we hope he keeps on dancing and literally SHINING!
Love,
Grace
