August 20, 2021

Dear Friends,

With summer ending and schools starting up again, it was so nice to see many of you back in class this week, especially today when my sister Ann, best friend Karen, and childhood friend Julie came from the South Bay to surprise me!

A special shout-out also goes out to Kaitlin, Andrea, Jeff, and Shel for their extra support this week as I have decided to unfortunately discontinue some of my fitness and yoga classes that I tried out over the summer. I will, however, continue HIIT Camp Wednesdays at 9:30am on ZOOM, Stop Drop And Dance Tu/Th/Sa at 9:30am IN-PERSON AND ZOOM, and the rest of the formats as pop-ups or on-demand!

The updated schedule will be announced in my next newsletter on Monday, August 30th.

"You can't pour from an empty cup."

I will be taking next week off to "fill my cup" with my family before my girls start school.  There are lots of classes on-demand that you can "replay" all week long including:

  • Stop Drop And Dance: THREE previously-live 60-75 minute classes from this past week: Saturday 8/14, Tuesday 8/17, and Thursday 8/19
  • YogaBURN previously-live 60 minute class from Tuesday 8/17
  • HIIT Camp 30/30 previously-live 60 minute class from Wednesday 8/18
  • Gentle Vinyasa Yoga previously-live 60 minute class from Wednesday 8/18

PLUS!!!  A new SERIES just uploaded on-demand!!!

VOLUME 2: 20x7 Week of Workouts
20 minutes x 7 days Week of Workouts Series is a perfect weekly workout schedule that balances moderate-high intensity activity with muscle-strengthening exercises and stretches (or you can take them a-la-carte).  You'll need dumbbells for some of the days and a yoga mat.  Intensity is always up to you and can be modified down or up!

DAY 1: Cardio Legs
DAY 2: Strong Arms
DAY 3: Power Yoga
Day 4: Cardio Arms
DAY 5: Strong Legs
DAY 6: Cardio Core
DAY 7: Yin Yoga

Any on-demand video requests?  Let me know!

See you for the next live class on TUESDAY, AUGUST 31st!

If you haven't seen our new weekday space at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin, it may be "indoors," but there are 3 walls of windows and doors that we open for plenty of ventilation, high ceilings and natural light, plenty of parking spots, plus amazing views!  We do wear masks, although some dancers stay outside the doors and dance without one =)

If being outdoors is a must, you can join us Saturdays at "The Garage" which is covered but has open air sides, and it has plenty of parking and amazing views too!

Until I return...

perhaps my biggest wish for you this week is to...

"Take time to do what makes your soul happy."

Promise?

Love,
Grace
