Dear Friends,
See you in a week!
I sent my 8th grade daughter to San Francisco International Airport this morning for her week-long Taipei delegation. She is going with classmates from her school that also take the Mandarin program, and they will be doing individual home stays! What a fun and exciting travel and immersion opportunity... but I already miss her!
Tomorrow, I will be flying to Maui with my husband and younger daughter for a much needed relaxing vacation after months of choreographing for the Disney Descendants' Spring Musical last week. The agenda: sleep, swim, and eat!
Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 14th!
All previously-live classes are recorded and available on-demand (free for members or purchase a-la-carte for non-members).

Happy LIPSTICK Birthdays Andrea Spencer and Joan Murphy!
This past Tuesday, we celebrated Andrea Spencer and Joan Murphy with a 75 minute Stop Drop and Dance class! Andrea turned 67 and she did not disappoint by staying up front the whole time for our super high energy playlist!Joan celebrated her birthday with us for the first time and she and Sharon Mor inspired our unique theme: BRIGHT LIPSTICK plus an outfit to match! Thank you to Erin Meyers and Sandy Aley for decorating a cute background with giant LIPS!
A quote from Joan after class:“That was so much fun and I have to say that all of you looked absolutely beautiful and radiant and I think you should all continue to wear it each and every day😎😁!”Agreed!! We are MADE FOR NOW so let’s pull out those clothes we rarely wear, put on those bangles and jewelry, and wear some lipstick everyday!

Good Friday and Happy Easter!
Many of you know I grew up dancing - as a kid re-watching "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" on a VHS tape, to being a cheerleader in middle and high school, to dancing with my husband on our UCSD "220 Second to None" hip hop troupe, to performing lyrical hip hop routines throughout my 20's with our church dance troupe, "Eight Count."
The piece above, "Bleeding Love," by Leona Lewis, was one of the most popular pieces I directed and choreographed, and it is a creative interpretation of what the deepest love and sacrifice looks like.
In this world we live in, we as humans simply make mistakes, we judge and hate one another, and we live in a reality of fear, heartache, and pain in our daily lives. This piece, "Bleeding Love," is a story for all of us: of never being alone, of never losing hope, and of always being worthy of love.
"I am the light of the world.
Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life."
- John 8:12
Love,
Grace
