What's Happening This Week!
Thank you to all the members above who were able to attend our photoshoot on Sunday with the talented Amaya Josephs and videographer Miguel to create content for our 2027 re-vamped Stop Drop and Dance website, designed by Melanie Barti and Shannon Bindler! We missed many of you who were out of town, had prior obligations, or were at Porchfest!
This week our schedule is:

* Tuesday Stop Drop and Dance 9:30am-10:30am + optional corework until 10:45am (bring a mat)
* Wednesday ZOOM ONLY Strength & Stretch from 9:30am-10:45am (use a medium and heavy set of dumbbells and a mat)
* Thursday Stop Drop and Dance 9:30am-10:30am + optional corework until 10:45am (bring a mat)
* Friday St. Isabella's School Dance-a-thon 9:45am-10:45am! *
Over the past 4 years, we have led the St. Isabella School Dance-a-thon and raised over $87,000 for their programs! This Friday, September 25th will be our 5th Fundraiser together and I always welcome backup dancers to help lead our Stop Drop and Dance choreography to their K-8 students!
Please reply to this email if you would like to help lead the dances. We will wear our new Black Stop Drop and Dance shirts!
Class is cancelled this Saturday, September 26th because I will be in Reno for my daughter's soccer tournament!

Thank you to everyone who came last Tuesday to our Stop Drop and Dance celebration for Karen Wright! Karen is our generous host that will be opening her home for our October 24th Stinson Beach Dance Party from 3-8pm! If you haven’t signed up yet, early bird rates last until September 30th!
We are so grateful that Marianne Jacobson introduced Karen to our community 2 years ago, and even though she lives in San Francisco, we are honored Karen crosses the bridge every class to dance with us in San Rafael! Welcome to your first dance class Nina Johnson!
Karen picked the theme FLOWERS and brought flower hair clips for everyone! Thank you to Erin Meyers for decorating again and to Sara Rainbolt for helping with the set up.

Early Bird Rates End September 30th!
Have you signed up yet for our Stinson Beach DANCE PARTY on Saturday, October 24th from 3-8pm for Lisa's 50th Birthday? Everyone is invited, even if you don't know Lisa or aren't regular dancers with Grace!
Grab your spot for a guaranteed memorable evening combining our signature Stop Drop and Dance class with silent disco headsets, all while enjoying the beach, the sand, and the sunset!
Lisa has picked the color themes: PINK, BLACK, AND/OR GOLD!
Sign up by September 30th for the Early-Bird Pricing, otherwise October 12th is the LAST day to sign up because we have to have final numbers for our headsets!
DAI DAI Let's Go!
Who else is loving our monthly choreography sessions? Last month, we learned the "Voicemails by Isabelle" viral dance routine to Robyn's "Dancing On My Own," and this month we learned the ending eight counts to Shakira and Burna Boy's “Dai Dai” routine that they performed during this past summer’s World Cup Finals Halftime show!
Thank you to the dancers who came dressed up in bright yellow, orange and pink to learn this dance in just 45 minutes, and you can watch the free tutorial on our YouTube channel to learn it from home!
PS - Those yellow rubber cleaning gloves were a great investment for our outfits, don't you think? (we cut off the fingertips!)

Top Left: Jennifer Lee, Grace, Sandy Aley, and Karin Conn celebrated our one year anniversary last Tuesday for our Power With Grace prayer group that happens every other Tuesday after class from 11-12pm! We are so grateful for all of you who have popped in to share your prayers with us and we welcome anyone who wants to join!
Middle Left: Eliza Desch, Karin Conn, Kim Lewis, Tanya Burdick, and Sunny St. Germain all spotted one another last Sunday at Porchfest!
Bottom Left: High school friend Celeste Lam popped in to say hi to Grace on Thursday morning because she was visiting from the South Bay!
Top and Bottom Right: Shannon Bindler, Melanie Barti, and Laura Briggs went to Sound Summit last weekend!
WELCOME HOME!
This past Thursday, Laura Briggs had her LAST radiation treatment for breast cancer and right afterwards, she came to dance class. Karen Shelton welcomed her into class with a big hug and said, "Welcome Home!"
That's how much we love all of you and we hope that this Power With Grace community can truly be a place that feels like home:
