Make Time to BOOGIE!
For our final class yesterday before our 2-week Summer Break, we came dressed up in a Rainbow Disco theme and danced to a 75 minute Stop Drop and Dance playlist combined with favorite songs from all 3 birthday girls Jen Lefferts, Karin Conn and Sara Rainbolt!
Thank you to Erin Meyers for decorating the backdrop with all things boogie, to the birthday girls for bringing rainbow and disco ball necklaces, headbands and stickers to wear, and to Leslie Dinham for baking a delicious carrot cake for all to enjoy after class!
One of the highlights was a special surprise visit from Sara’s husband, Eric, and son, Rex, and they even came up to dance to Kendrick Lamar! Thank you to everyone who joined on Zoom or in-person to celebrate these wonderful ladies!

Live Like Everyday Is Your Birthday!
It is such a treat to be able to celebrate our community, and it’s even better when family members show up to our Stop Drop and Dance class! On Tuesday morning, Kristen Sperling and Laika Chow were both joined by their special guests, Kristen’s husband, Robert, and Laika’s daughter, Mika! Both Robert and Mika even came up front to dance multiple songs!
Kristen and Laika also chose the creative idea of asking everyone to wear a top with an inspirational saying on it, so our dance room was full of positive words, such as Kristen’s “Let’s root for each other and watch each other grow,” and Laika’s “GRATEFUL” shirt!
To add onto the theme, Erin Meyers found the cutest inspirational mini posters to hang as our backdrop that had mantras like “Dream Big” or “Today is a Good Day!” Yes it sure was a good day, with dancing, friendship, and donut holes from Laika after!

Members have unlimited access to our on-demand library of previously-live Stop Drop and Dance and Strength & Stretch classes, so even if there is no live session, you can still get a workout in! Non-members can purchase classes a-la-carte on our website.

My family and I are off to Korea this evening with 4 other families and we are visiting Seoul, Busan and Jeju Island. I am beyond excited to turn my brain off for 2 weeks and explore a new country, from eating to shopping to sightseeing, and getting pampered!
If you are around, I hope that you can get together with others through our Dance Group WhatsApp and send your Dancers in the Wild pics! If you are traveling, I hope you have a safe and rejuvenating time wherever you are headed!
