Dear Friends,

Sign Up By Sunday!
We have a great group of dancers joining us for our two-night Explore Monterey Women's Retreat from April 29th to May 1st! It is a perfect getaway just far enough from home where we get to be out in nature, enjoy the coast, and connect with some other wonderful women!
This Sunday, February 15th will be the deadline to sign up for a guaranteed spot and also save $100! After Sunday, the hotel is releasing our room holds so reservations will be pending hotel availability, but please feel free to reach out if you can make it work and we will see what we can do!
Hope you can join us!

Happy 67th Birthday Debby Strenkofsky!
Over the weekend, we celebrated Debby with a 60 minute Stop Drop and Dance birthday class and she chose the important and relevant theme of making it a protest class!Everyone brought posters to hang up in the background and everyone wore shirts with powerful messages written on them. At the end of class, we held hands in a circle and listened to Bruce Springsteen's recent song called, "Streets of Minneapolis."
Debby also shared her favorite action resource, the 5 Calls App, which can be downloaded on your phone and is the easiest and most effective way to make a political impact.
Thank you to everyone who joined class, including Debby’s family members Tony, Brandon, and Ashley, to stand up for an America that celebrates diversity, supports inclusion, strives for equality, takes care of all its people, and leads with love.
Debby will be undergoing a double knee replacement at the end of the month so this was also an emotional final Stop Drop and Dance class for Debby… that is, final, only until she is recovered and dancing again with her new knees!!!
We will miss you Debby!

Bad Bunny is my TWIN!
So it turns out Bad Bunny shares the same birthday as me, March 10th! No wonder I connected with his Superbowl halftime show so much.
I didn't know his songs, and I couldn't understand what he was singing. But that doesn't matter at all to me, because as a fellow Pisces, I FELT his heart and his purpose.
Bad Bunny brought a piece of Puerto Rico, into Levi's Stadium. Just the set alone was incredible with invisible people running inside all those bushes!
From paying homage to the hard-working farmers in the sugarcane fields and small businesses in the streets, to climbing an electrical pole to represent Puerto Rico's power outages, to salsa dancing and celebrating an engagement to a wedding party, to calling out "God Bless America" and naming all the countries in North and South America, I loved that Bad Bunny celebrated and honored his home, his culture, and his identity.
Isn't that the point of the United States of America?
We are the one country in the world with so so so many people who look, speak, and live differently. I see our country as a rainbow and I think these differences are what makes us so beautiful. We should be proud to share our traditions and cultures, and we should be curious and respectful to learn from one another. A rainbow made up of only white colors wouldn't be so magical, don't you think?
"The only thing more powerful than hate is love."
Love,
Grace
