Wear your protest shirts, make a poster, and bring it with you to Stop Drop and Dance class this Saturday, February 7th from 9:30am-10:30am at UUMarin (240 Channing Way, San Rafael)!
We are celebrating Debby Strenkofsky's SIX-SEVEN birthday (I can literally hear my girls repeating "six-seven" with the hand motion... yup it's still happening...) and it might be one of her last classes for a few months before she has her double-knee replacement surgery scheduled at the end of February.
Debby had the important, relevant, and meaningful idea of making her birthday theme a PROTEST CLASS because of the tragic deaths that keep happening with ICE in full force.
Please join us this Saturday as we not only unite in dancing to celebrate Debby's birthday, but also unite in our protest towards abolishing ICE!

We Raised $3300 For Marin Montessori!
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of teaching a Stop Drop and Dance-a-thon for Marin Montessori to raise $3300 for their school programs! There were over 70 people in attendance and even the preschool kids did a great job dancing!
Thank you to Erin Flynn and Kelly Wilms for organizing the event and inviting us to teach for their community, and for our little backup dancers, Moxie, Nora, and Winslow for being on stage the whole time to lead the crowd (and to make sure no preschoolers got too close to the edge of the stage)!

10 Years Strong!
Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of joining forces with Carla Herzenberg from Metta Yoga and Lori Holscher from Hot Yoga Republic to teach a special yoga class for one of our beloved dancers, Seran Kim, who celebrated 10 years of being cancer-free!
Thank you to Ammie Bach, Julie Van Alyea, and Suzanne Towns for hosting this wonderful event and reception to honor Seran and her family's 10-year-journey as a cancer warrior! Seran was surrounded by so many friends and family members who normally would never take a yoga class, but did so just to support her.
This was the quote I shared at the end of the yoga class because it reminds me of Seran and many of you beautiful, beautiful people.

Only 3 More Inland View Rooms!
If you are planning to join us in Monterey April 29th - May 1st, but have not booked your spot yet, the hotel has notified us that they are running low on Inland View and Partial View rooms (the more affordable room choices) and have plenty of Harbor View or Ocean View rooms (nicer but more costly choices).
I was able to tentatively hold only 3 more Inland View rooms so reserve your room ASAP to make sure you can grab one of them! We can't wait to hang out together in Monterey!
Prices go up $100 after February 15th!
