Happy Holidays
It's a season of magic. Like walking into our usual weekday venue and all of a sudden seeing the fellowship hall transformed with red and green paper chains on the ceilings, white paper snowflakes on the windows, green wreaths with red berries hung on the walls, and a beautiful Christmas tree decorated with love.
Magic.
For those of you staying in the area for the last 2 weeks of 2021, we'll be around too! Come and join us for Zoom, in-person, or on-demand classes, especially if you need a break from being cooped up by all the upcoming rain! And boy is it going to rain (goodbye drought?)!
P.S. My daughters will be joining every class!

Masks Optional (but recommended)
This week, unfortunately we received our first possible Covid exposure. A student who came in-person on Tuesday found out later that she tested positive for Covid. All students in that Tuesday class were notified and thankfully no one else has reported symptoms and all tests taken so far have been negative (including myself).
Our current weekday venue, UU Marin, may be considered "indoors," however we open 3 sides of windows and doors so there is good ventilation (and chill!), plus our floor markers are kept 6 feet apart. In addition, everyone who comes in-person has shown proof of full vaccination, and attendance is always taken for this exact reason. Our Saturday venue in "The Garage" at One Thorndale is a covered, but "outdoors" space because of the open air sides.
Therefore we are NOT considered in close contact.
According to Marin Health, "If you've been fully vaccinated, AND are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, and you’ve been around someone who has COVID-19, you do not need to stay away from others."
Please know that we take everyone's health and safety seriously. Even though Marin has allowed gyms and fitness studios to be exempt from wearing masks indoors,
we recommend masks to be worn during this winter season.

This past week, we danced a sweaty 75 minutes on Thursday for Monica Jones with all our songs full of heart such as "Alive," "Grateful," "Broken and Beautiful," "Confident," and "Brave." She even had a perfect "It's My Birthday" tank to celebrate the occasion!
Then on Saturday, we danced another sweaty 75 minutes playlist for Tiffany Singer, who was joined on camera several times by her daughters, Sam and Amelia - a mother's perfect birthday wish!
