Fundraiser Class THIS Saturday!
Join us this Saturday, April 1st at 9:30am in "The Garage" for a Stop Drop and Dance fundraiser forRuby's Rainbow and the 321 Pledge. Come in all your rainbow-themed workout clothes and join our hosts Jessica Kissane and her daughter Cassidy Kissane! This is our 4th year supporting this wonderful non-profit organization that has given out 599 college scholarships and over $2 million in scholarship funds up to date!
The 3/21 Pledge is a program developed by Ruby's Rainbow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of adult students with Down syndrome by helping them achieve their dreams of higher education and independence, while spreading awareness about their capabilities and general awesomeness.
Even if you cannot make the class, your donation is appreciated!
With your donation, you will receive an Eventbrite confirmation with the directions to our in-person venue in San Rafael, as well as the zoom link to join from home (make sure to scroll to the very bottom of the email!). In addition, all donors on Eventbrite will receive a recording of class to take on-demand for the entire week afterwards!

Bringing the "Golden Sunshine!"
Last Thursday, we celebrated Sunny St. Germain's "Golden Sunshine" birthday with a yellow and golden theme. Sunny handmade a whole bunch of mustard yellow pom pom hair bands for everyone to wear during class! And, it was a perfect day because we brought out the sunshine, literally!
Thank you also to Amaya Josephs, who split the playlist with Sunny, and visited us during her college spring break!
Please wear your gold "Shine Your Light" tanks, or anything yellow or mustard color on Thursday!
We're doing the same color theme again this Thursday, March 30th as we celebrate Andrea Spencer's 64th birthday! Let's bring out the sunshine again (especially after the next two days of forecasted rain!). Get ready for a high cardio 75 minute playlist!

Last week, I had the honor of attending the official Marin Independent Journal's 2023 Readers Choice Awards Celebration at the Jonas Center in the College of Marin.
I wish I could have brought ALL of you with me, but sadly, I could only bring 3 guests. Thank you to Sara Rainbolt, Lisa Butcher and Laura Briggs for accompanying me to the party and convincing me to not show up in my preferred workout attire!
I finally got my own copy of the Marin IJ 2023 Reader's Choice Awards newspaper and received a swag bag including a plaque honoring "The Power With Grace" as Winner for Best Personal Fitness Instructor and "Stop Drop and Dance" as Honor Award for Best Dance Studio.
I am so grateful to all of you who have supported OUR journey to keep dancing though all the highs and lows of life, to give back to organizations that make a difference, and to surround ourselves with a community that is truly kind, compassionate and loving.
