Dear Friends,
"Dare to love yourself as if you were a rainbow with gold at both ends."
- Author-Poet Aberjhani
We started last week with a birthday celebration on Tuesday for Michelle Sullivan. We dressed in rainbow clothing and she even brought matching rainbow tutus! Although Michelle hadn't planned on dancing up front, we are proud of her for getting out of her comfort zone and allowing her rainbow to SHINE!
Happy Birthday Michelle!

"A rainbow is a promise of sunshine after rain.
Of calm after storms.
Of joy after sadness.
Of peace after pain.
Of love after loss."
- Unknown
Then on Thursday, we remembered and celebrated Shayne Rebbetoy, who would have turned18 last week. We gave all of our love to momma Lisa Hudson by dancing alongside her to songs such as "Broken and Beautiful,""Brave", and "I Am Here." Lisa even showed up with gifts for everyone - purple masks and purple wrist bands- and she wore Shayne's hat perfectly to"Purple Hat." Dance is our therapy...
Happy Birthday Shayne!

"Don't seek to be happy;
Let everyone else chase after that rainbow.
Seek to be kind,
And you'll find the rainbow follows you."
- Richelle E. Goodrich
Finally, on Saturday, we held our fundraiser Stop Drop and Dance class for MarinGIFT (Give It Forward Today)! We danced and raised a total of $1749 for MarinGIFT to provide compassionate care and critical services to the unsheltered community in Marin! Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
Happy Birthday Sandy Aley!

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain."
This is one of the main quotes that come up year after year in my classes. It's the idea that life is simply out of our control. Whatever happens, happens.
All we can control, is our actions. How we react to situations. How we interact with others. How we take one step at a time to move forward. How we keep our head up high.

"You'll never find a rainbow if you're looking down."
- Charlie Chaplin
I hope you see your own beauty.
I hope you see your own light.
I hope you create your own rainbows.
And let your soul shine bright.
Love,
Grace
