Communi-T Fundraiser Saturday!

July 20, 2026

July 20, 2026

Dear Friends,

Dance and Donate for Kathleen Dowd!

Please join us this Saturday, July 25th, from 9:30am-10:30am @UUMarin (240 Channing Way in San Rafael) as we celebrate Kathleen Dowd's GLAM AND GLITTER Birthday by raising money for Communi-T!

A note from Kathleen:

"I chose this organization because I’ve been involved in raising money and advocating for improving maternal and reproductive health for decades.

CommuniT Is an organization started by a young entrepreneurial woman who is creating mobile clinics to provide care for immigrant communities and communities who cannot receive care otherwise.

She is buying vans and outfitting them as clinics, and hiring midwives to provide the care.

I want to support her important work and the communities she serves."

Even if you cannot make our dance class, please consider supporting Kathleen's birthday fundraiser!  All donors will receive an on-demand recording of our class!

No Classes July 28th - August 1st!

I hope to see you THIS WEEK for our Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday Stop Drop and Dance classes, or for our Wednesday Strength & Stretch on Zoom!

Please note that the following week we will not have classes from Tuesday, July 28th to Saturday, August 1st and then we will resume classes on Tuesday, August 4th!

"Go outside, hallelujah

It's beautiful, hallelujahI

t's rainin' hallelujah

Breathe the air, hallelujah

I'm singin' like hallelujah

Dancin' like hallelujah

Everything hallelujah

Everything hallelujah"

I hope that you were able to enjoy the first ever halftime show at the World Cup yesterday!  Along with Madonna, BTS, Shakira, Burna Boy, and Coldplay, I love that of all the songs Justin Bieber could have picked, he chose to sing his song, "Everything Hallelujah."  If you stayed for our core and stretch Tuesday and Thursday last week, you might have recognized that this was also the song I happened to play at the end of class!

I love it because each one of us in the entire world can plug in our own lyrics, anytime of the day, and immediately shift our perspective to one of gratitude, appreciation, and awe.  Right now, in this very moment, what would you plug into your song?

After a weekend in the South Bay with my family and best friends, my song would look like:

"Sweet treats, hallelujah

Slow mornings, hallelujah

Typing in my car, hallelujah

Groomed dogs, hallelujah

Protein shake, hallelujah

Migraine free, hallelujah

Everything hallelujah

Everything hallelujah..."

Your turn!

Think of just 6 random things that happened today that you are grateful for, and then add on 2 "everything hallelujah's" at the end.  It's as simple as that, but so powerful and meaningful.

I'd love to hear your song - just reply and share it with me.

Everything hallelujah!

Love,

Grace
