Special things happening...
Last week, we sent our love to Catherine Granville, who has been one of our dedicated Stop Drop and Dance members for over 5 years, as she departs for a 6-month adventure to explore Bali! We are so excited for you Catherine and we will miss you!
We are always sad when someone leaves our Power With Grace community. Know that even though we don't see you regularly anymore, you are thought of and dearly missed.
Hope to see some of you this week at one, two, or all, of our specialty themed classes below to celebrate the end of October (why is time flying by???).

As part of the Marin Country Day School spring auction item, we will be teaching a 60 minute Stop Drop and Dance class in the gym! $25 Drop-In to support MCDS!

Saturday, October 28th 9:30am 75 Minute Stop Drop and Dance *HALLOWEEN COSTUME CLASS*

We will dance for 60 minutes and then spend the last 15 minutes recording the new Trolls song by *NSYNC and Justin Timberlake, "Better Place"

Tuesday, October 31st: NO CLASS
Class will be cancelled so that some of us can attend our kids' Halloween school parades in the morning.
Thank you for understanding and classes will resume on Wednesday, November 1st with HIIT at 9:30am and Yoga at 10:45am!
I'm sorry and I love you
Like most of you, my heart has been deeply hurting by the conflict in the Middle East. No one should live in fear. No one should live in violence. No one should live in terror.
The more news I read, the deeper I sink. The more I learn, the sadder I become. It's been a hard few weeks and I'm afraid it will continue to be harder for much longer.
I want to share this New York Times article my friend Seran sent me a few days ago.
It's about a Los Angeles non-profit program called NewGround, that is run by two women, one with family roots in Palestine and one who used to be a resident of Israel. Their mission is to help "Muslims and Jews learn to listen, disagree, empathize with one another - and become friends."
If you are looking for a little bit of positivity and hope, I encourage you to take a few minutes to read the article. We may not be able to do much to help this long-standing conflict, however, we can begin with our own lives.
What if, the next time we are in disagreement with someone, instead of fighting and trying to win the argument, what if we paused, took a breath, swallowed our pride, and said, "I'm sorry and I love you?"
I believe that conversation would change directions immediately.

Did you know we have a YouTube channel with free tutorial and full music videos of ALL our dances? For those of you who aren't able to sign up for a membership on our website, it's a great alternative to still get to dance with us, without any cost! In addition, all our videos are posted on our @stopdropanddanceofficial Instagram page!
Our newest dance videos posted this week were for "Big Big Love" by Michael Franti, and can you believe our excitement seeing that he actually liked our videos???
Actually, it's the second time he's commented on our videos and it just shows what a humble, down-to-earth, guy he is for taking the time to recognize the efforts of small businesses like us! It sure means a lot!
