Congratulations Debby & Tony!

This past Saturday morning, December 2nd, we had the privilege to dance with Debby Strenkofsky, who got married only a few hours later!!!

Something really special about Debby is that in the past few years since she started dancing with us, we have gotten to witness her complete transformation…

From literally a challenging low to this beautiful moment Saturday.

Debby has quite a story to share if you ever make the time to listen, and the beauty is that Debby DOES share. She is courageous to open her heart to others, and because she constantly does, we all become so inspired by her, and we get to lift HER up in return!

We all have stories.
We all have hardships.
We all have struggles.

And we also all have celebrations.
We all have overcome challenges.
We all are inspirational in our own ways.

What Debby reminds us is that we don’t have to face life alone. We don’t have to hold everything in private or secret. We don’t have to be afraid to open our hearts to others. Because it is only then that we make real, heartfelt connections with others and both sides inevitably grow.

We can all give love and we all deserve to be loved.

Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us Debby!

Why don't we dance more?

On Saturday morning, I woke up to a flood of emails from many of you =)  I LOVE that.  Thank you (and thank you Tanya for sharing that quote above too)!

The New York Times published an article titled, "Why Don't We Dance More?" and of course I agree!!!  Yes, I'd love for you to come to our Stop Drop and Dance classes, but I get that not everyone wants choreography.

What's more important is to JUST DANCE.

The article really encourages everyone to dance, all the time.  As part of our day.  As part of our regular chores and routines.  As part of a healthy, positive, endorphin-releasing, silly and fun HABIT.

In one line of the article, the author said, "Dancing, one person suggested to me sadly, is something you do when you’re young and then you stop."

I'd like to MAJORLY disagree with whoever believes that, because the absolute truth is (physically, mentally, emotionally, and more):

Dancing is the secret to staying young!

Love,

Grace
