Kick off 2022 by GIVING BACK!
I drive through downtown San Rafael several times a week and my heart always breaks when I see our homeless community out on the streets. Today as I drove by, it hurt even more knowing that these individuals are outside when the temperature has dropped into the 30's and we are having weeks of rain.
So I decided, as last minute as this could possibly be...
To make our New Years Day Stop Drop and Dance class on Saturday morning a fundraiser!
Last Year for New Years...
We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day, an empty parking lot to dance in, and a video recording that was totally glitchy (when we were still figuring out the best technology setup!).

And in collaboration with Pelo Fitness...
YOU contributed 88 bags of canned food for the Marin Food Bank!
THIS YEAR...
We will raise money for the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin, a non-profit organization in downtown San Rafael that has been serving free meals every day since they opened their Free Dining Room in 1981, ensuring that no one goes hungry in Marin. In addition to addressing hunger, they aid in preventing poverty, homelessness, and isolation for 10,000 children, adults, and seniors in Marin.

In the photo above, my daughter's Girl Scout Troop helped volunteer to make 150 bagged lunches last year during the pandemic for St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin. Everyday, twice a day at 9:30am and 2:00pm, they continue to depend on donations and volunteers to provide food for our homeless community. They are always looking for volunteers to make lunches at home and deliver them if you are interested!
Let's kick off the very first day of 2022 by doing our part to care for our community’s most vulnerable residents!

After your donation, you will receive the Zoom link in your Eventbrite confirmation email, or come in-person to "The Garage" at 1 Thorndale Drive in San Rafael!
